And Why Are You Reading My Blog?!
I know I have lurkers on my blog (Hi Alina!!).
I want to out all my lurkers and get to know them!
You know who you are...yes YOU!
It is time to come out of hiding!
OK...this isn't just for my "lurkers" but for everyone...I want to know one thing about each you! Something fun, funny or interesting that I don't already know about you.
I'll start
My second toe is longer than my big toe.

Our Funny Bunny
I just spent 3 hours at the Animal ER with Zach. For the past 2 years he has had what we refer to as Doggy OCD. He finds a spot and licks it continuously for a few hours. Then he moves onto another spot. It has always been little more than annoying but tonight it got bad. I finished packing for the trip and getting the Easter Bunny situated in the living room. I was ready to paint my nails and relax with a movie when Jon noticed Zach had licked himself raw. It looked like 2 raw spots where he had just eaten away the hair and gone to town on his flesh. So I took him in at 10:30. They had to sedate him and shave all over the right leg area so that it could be looked at well. They cleaned it and gave us an antibacterial spray. He also got a wonderful cone that he is not thrilled about. It is nothing life threatening, just painful for him and inconvenient for us. The worst part of the whole situation is Serafina is afraid of him with the cone on so she is doing double time on the barking which at 2 AM is quite annoying. But you all know I am full of love for these dogs so I will be up all night with Zach fighting the cone. Serafina might have to sleep in the car however. There is a picture below of the wound...look only if you dare!

Busy Busy!
Dylan had Wacky Wednesday at School...he loved being able to get away with being the "Class Clown" for a day!
This adorable angel showed her generous heart, giving her playmate a $20 from her wallet. Thankfully the money was returned once the other Mommy discovered what had happened. Megan insisted she only gave her "one" so it can't be too much money! So we have had a lesson on money and a talk about taking playmates into Mommy and Daddy's room and showing them were we hide our money.
Dylan took his test to earn his green stripe in Tae Kwan Do. He did an awesome job! We will know in two weeks if he passed!
Daddy taught the kids
We are on Spring Break now. We will be serving at Church on Saturday, attending on Sunday, then heading to my Grandmas for an Easter Brunch. We are sneaking out early to head to Palm Springs for a few days of Family Time!! We plan to do the Aerial Tramway (I am frightened), the Living Desert, swim, rest, play games and just enjoy some time together.

My Many Hats
You all know I wear many hats. But tonight I am not reflecting on my 3 jobs, wifely duties, Mommy duties, PTF responsibilities, Care taking burdens etc. etc. etc. Tonight I am cheerfully reporting on my annual duty as the...
I enjoy being
and all the other "magical" people that come in and out of our lives, but there is something really fun about being a Leprechaun!
2 years ago Megan decided the Leprechauns could never return because the peed in her toilet. She really didn't like that. In fact, for two weeks leading up to St. Patty's Day last yea, she was in a panic over the Leprechauns. We opted to leave them a note, asking them pee at the neighbors house. That went well. So this year she was very excited for them to come. So excited in fact, she drove me out of my mind talking about them for the past two days! Seriously, she wouldn't stop! This year she decided they were cool enough to pee in my bathroom but not hers. So we put a note on her potty and they complied. My toilet is filled with Leprechaun pee.
The great thing about the Leprechauns is you never know what they will do! This year they rearranged the furniture in the living room, sprinkled green confetti everywhere and left shamrocks with notes in random places throughout the house. They also bought a Leprechaun hat and socks for each of the kids. And the best part...they took the three loads of laundry that I had just folded (yeah right) and threw it all over the house. Imagine how mad I am going to be at those Leprechauns! I have to admit, I was dancing and smiling while simply throwing the clothes up in the air instead of folding! It was quite a treat.
Clean up after the Leprechauns is always a bit of a bummer, but it is worth it to see the kids faces in the morning. And the look of excitement on Jon's face when I serve him his annual Irish dinner...totally satisfying!
One final thought...what do you get when you cross a four leaf clover with poison ivy?
A rash of good luck!
Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!
