On Diane's blog I did not have to do a "word verification" to leave a comment. I did a little research and found out that you can disable the "word verification" part of the comments page. It says having it on there reduces SPAM. I am going to take my chances and go without for a while. Let's see how much SPAM I get.

Love the concept! I'm not brave enough to try it yet. I get so much crap already on spam.
Maybe I need to create another account for my blog, not caring what spam I might get.
I took mine off for a while, and got several spam comments on every post; so I put it back on. Hopefully you will have better luck!
I just came over here to put a comment about the word verification. Who knew you'd have a whole post about it? I have only received spam ONE TIME on my blog, so it works for me.
